Unfortunately, there is no user manual available for the Crofton TI-CM-1013 Coffee Maker with Thermo Jug. However, it is possible that the warmer plate can be switched on by pressing the "on/off" button. If this does not work, then it is likely that the warmer plate is not functioning properly and may need to be replaced.
Well, interesting question. If you could find the thermostat to repair the warming plate you are probably going to pay about $60.00 to purchase the part and another $50.00 in labor. The A10 can be purchased new for about $239.99. I guess the decision would be easy for me, but the choice is yours.
If expresso maker part works, the fuse is ok. I think that the resistence of the hot plate is interrupted. You must use the guarantee's facilities. I think it is two years available.
Hello,
One of the wires soldered to the underside of the warming plate had fell off due to poor soldering. The warming plate and the warning light are connected together with piggy back connectors so that is why the light is on even when the warmer is cold.

It sounds like you have a pour over model and the problem is the tank
isn't full. Turn the machine off (or unplug it). Put a pot on the
warmer like you are going to brew coffee. Pour clean cold water into
the top until it starts coming out the sprayhead (above where the
coffee grounds go). Now plug it in and turn on. Let it heat up then you
can brew.
The way your machine works is that there is always
about 2-1/2 pots of water in the tank. The water you pour in to make
coffee is actually pushing the hot water in the tank out. So, if you
don't fill the tank before using it, you may be hurting the heating
element since it isn't totally submerged in water.
You can either replace the warming element with a new one, or some people put 3 or 4 pennies on the top of the warmer tray. Don't laugh- this really does work!
