Admiral Heavy Duty 22lb. 2 speed motor going off balance
My washer, as soon as cloths are put in & it goes into spin mode, it makes loud noises & seems like the cloths are unbalanced, but they are not, and it shakes the washer
My Admiral Washer does the same. Some times it seems it is balanced, other times it walks the floor and will not seem to balance after moving clothing around. My Admiral Washer does the same. Yours is a 2 speed motor. Does it spin in 2 different speeds. If so, then it most likely is designed with only to agitate in 1 speed. If it only spins in one speed, then your motor is defective
Usually when the washer goes into spin cycle, it takes a little time to do so because it is trying to start a heavy load of wet clothes from standstill. As it speeds up, if the load is out of balance, it will start to wobble and then the off-balance switch is activated, shutting down the power to the motor and turning on an alarm momentarily. If this is close to what you are experiencing, try to realign the load so that the clothes are not bunched on one side of the drum - that is, distribute the load around the drum. You should be able to close the lid and press start to get it to try again. If this doesn't work, try removing most of the clothes, especially the heavy items, like jeans or sheets. You might be overloading the washer. Try it again.
It could have gone out of balance. See if the drum looks off center and center it if necessary. Turn it off and back on to reset the switch. If that doesn't work, try pressing on the lid either 2/3 of the way back on the right or all the way back on the left (depends on the model -- try both) and see if it starts. If it does, I would suspect the lid switch.
Guess you need to change the ,it links motor to the transmission. OR There aren't enough clothes in the machine to keep the tub balanced. Wash bigger loads or lift the lid when the banging starts and re-space the clothes evenly around the tub . Thanks for contacting fixya.com
Because it is a heavy duty machine, if you put too much clothes with a heavyrug in it, it will not be balance, as soon as your hear the loud noise, you have to stop it and reorganize your loading.
