Dvd Region Code 1 Won't Play on a Copied Disc

Hi, I am using DVD 43 in combination with 1 Click DVD Copy 5.
I have purchased region 1 DVD's (TV Series) & was able to play them on my PC with Cyberlink Power DVD v7 - no problems.
I copied the disc to HDD 1st to Trial how it would Rip & it Plays Fine on The HDD & ORiginal DVD - but When I try to burn a copy it won't play.
I get the message: ''This DVD Player has been fixed to Region 4. only those discs that support the region can be played.''
Then I Click ''OK'' (on Power DVD) & I get Message: '' ERROR CODE: 8090000F'' ''The disc's region code does not match with the DVD player's region designation.''

I don't understand because all other copies play. but the burnt Disc will not play although it's an exact copy.

there are so many different programs when I google this, but I'm not quite sure what this problem is.

Can anyone help? or let me know which would be the best software to download to remove the region code?

To play the region 1 DVD, you need a DVD decrypter to remove the region code from the disc. Leawo DVD Copy is recommended here. Because it is capable of removing any region code and copy protection upon your discs, and then make DVD to another blank disc, folder or ISO image file for backup. Moreover, it is free to download and experience.

Hi have a Samsung DVD Player and i get a Region Error Message.

When a DVD disc is created, it is encoded with a "Region number." The disc will only play on DVD players with the same Region number - for instance, a Region 3 disc won't play on a Region 1 player.
Region 1: U.S. and U.S. Territories, Canada
Region 2: Japan, Western Europe, Middle East, South Africa
Region 3: South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast and East Asia Region 4: New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands, Mexico, Central/
South America
Region 5: Russia and the former Soviet Union, Africa, Indian
subcontinent, North Korea Region 6: China
The only way to get around the region codes, is to rip a DVD to your computer and remove the region code. Then burn the DVD to a DVD R. There are programs around on the net, but I'm not sure it is legal in all countries.
Google for the programs.
A DVD player sometimes allows you to change the region code once. But it not even would allow you to switch back after you changed it once.

I bought a DVD set from Ireland and it won't play on my DVD player or my Wii. Is there a setting I need to change?

Hi there!
North American TVs, consoles and DVD players play video and games in the NTSC format (region 1), while Ireland's and most of Europe's play in PAL(region 2). You best bet to be able to watch your dvd set will be to purchase a dvd player that plays multi regions (these will be a bit more expensive) or to order a region 2 dvd player from Ireland or somewhere in Europe that uses region 2.

Hope this helps!

I insert a disc. It loads, then either 1 or 2 shows in the display, but nothing functions and the disc will not play. It is a region 2 disc I tried

\usually when a disc won`t play ,it just displays "No Disc".

Is the disc matching the dvd code?
Is the region code correct?
Have you checked what discs the dvd will play, in front of manual.

If those are ok the dvd must have condensation in it.
Place in a warm room, turn on and leave for 2-3 hrs
Then try again fingers crossed for you.

Says wrong region with some dvd's

Check the owner's manual to see what region your dvd player is for. What ever that region is is the only region it will play.

Example: If you have a region 1 dvd player and a region 4 dvd, it will not play on that player. The regions must match. The dvd usually has the region it is for listed on the back of the dvd case near the bottom.

Also, Any dvd's that are Region 0 or are labelled "Region Free" will play on any player.
