Bravia Color Just got my HD box and hooked up my 32" Bravia and can't adjust the color. I either have blue people or blue footballs and green beer. No browns.

It's possible that a part of the TV is faulty and you will need to have it serviced. You can always try checking the manual to make sure you're not overlooking some color setting:

After having my dish network upgraded to HD and installed, i notice on my tv now that the green and red colors are not there, predominant on channels like ESPN that use these colors most. I._E.: football...

Sounds like one of the cables got plugged in wrong.

Look at the back of the HD box and there should be a cable with 5 ends on it (Green,Blue,Red, White and Red).

Often times a flashlight can help make sure you see the colors clearly.

The Green,Blue and one of the Reds is for video. The White and other red are for Audio.

When you unplug the connector the connection it is attached to is also colored. Check to make sure the colors on the cord match the color they are connected to at the box.
The most common mistakes connecting these cables are:
1) Crossing the Green and the Blue cables.
2) Connecting the Red Audio cable to the Red Video connection.

If all of the connections match the correct colors find the same cable where it plugs into the back of the TV and check these connections that they are correct.

When you find and move the cable to the correct connection this should clear up your color and you can begin to enjoy your new toys....

Good Luck....

I need to know where to plug in my connectors for my cable box. I have two red ones and one blue one I can't find the right holes to plug them in. I have a green one and white one fixed so I have a black...

Hi,
This would be 5 pins, red-white is for audio and rest of 3 pins red-green-blue for video signal, it calls component video.
Find out red-green-blue jacks at back of TV that would be label as Y, Yr, Yb
Plug each pin in same color to get color picture.

White colors schemes seem off white color or brownish color and blue has green tint or baby blue color. .

Check the coolant in all three crt's as chances are it is contaminated (should be crystal clear). If brown (beer color), replace coolant in all three crt's and perform convergence adjust. Picture should be like new!!!

Good Luck!!!

My picture has a green and blue hue to it.

After spending a day trying to fix the TV, I found out the problem was actually with my cable box. I have an HD DVR recorder. We unplugged the cable box and plugged the TV directly into the cable in the wall and it worked. So we took the cable box back to our cable company and got a new cable box. (Can't live without the DVR!!)

Sony bravia lcd tv-

If you are using a HD cable box or satelite with component outputs, be sure that all 3 cables ( green, red, and blue ) are making good connection.A loss of red or blue will cause color shift. Usually,if the tv menu comes up as the correct color but the picture dose'nt, it is most likely a signal problem.
