It makes electrical buzzing noise when you press the start button. ... Have you checked the Lamp to see if it has shattered? This is the most common reason for this symptom. It is accessible from the back left side as you look at the set.

my tv was making a similar sound so i took off the back. There was a bundle of wires that had come loose and were rubbing the fan blades. I retaped them back and no more noise. seriously.
