In my opinion you will have to upgrade firmware of your player. How to do it you can study on this website and download the Sansa Firmware Updater software also.
Hai, i have sansa clip 2gb with the same problem.
one ultimate answer i got is Sansa clip uses Media Transfer Protocol(MTP). Sandisk(maker of salsa clip) know about the problem which cannot be solved(the earlier sansa products are to be avoided).
There is no solution with the company.
When you are able to go through the player's menu you can select reset factory settings. Starting from the Main Menu select:
1. Settings menu
2. System settings
3. Reset factory settings
4. Yes (to confirm the selection)
They are all on Sandisk's website - I no logner post the link ,because the link is always changing, and then people get mad at me when it doesn't work.
you dont need a driver. when you plug it in a window should pop-up within 10-20 seconds of plugging it in. Click open folder to view files and then click what you want on your MP3 and drag it to audio. I've had this problem before.
