Blower motor won't shut off. Need schematics. Put in another furnace, a used carrier furnace, might be too large for house and existing duct work. Would this cause the blower to stay running; would that affect the limit switch. Model #5955-100-121BO
Yes. If the high limit is tripped, the furnace will bring on the fan continuously until the limit resets. Often, they will not reset if tripped repeatedly. If the furnace is too large for your application, you probably are not able to move enough air to keep the heat exchanger cool enough.
Blower motor stays on but the furnace does not light up the burners ,the blower fan just keeps running until I shut down the power ,and it won't stop blowing if I dont cut the power off to the furnace ?
