Downloading from email

There are only three ways to load books onto your Kindle: (1) download them from Amazon via an account (using Wifi or 3G connection), (2) email them to your Kindle the unique email address for your Kindle which is assigned to you by Amazon at the time of registration, or (3) download the ebook file from a computer using the USB cable.

To email books to your Kindle or to download them via USB cable you must know the location of the ebook (which is typically a .MOBI file) and you must be computer-savvy enough to be able to either attach the ebook file to the email or to copy it to the 'document' folder of the USB connected Kindle.

What message if any are you getting when you try to download an attachment.
Please provide all details that take place when you are trying to download the attachment to be able to assist with your issue

May I know what tablet you have? Are you unable to access the whole tablet? If ever I do recommend doing a factory reset to it but that would erase your apps and just need to re download them again.

I would suggest you send it to your email inbox as an attachment as the best solution to this problem

Hey !!! its to do with files which are supported by Iphone. I have the sameproblem too - guess we have to forego some files !! As far as I know - unsupported file systems are the problem.

Try to download and install another browser like Firefox Mozilla or Opera

yahoo mail attachment doesnot work from 2 days how fix that

Install mozilla firefox browser and try to open attachments. It works.

Have the person that sent you the email - re-send that email. Then instead of opening that email attachment, save it first to a location on your hard drive.

then you should be able to open it safely and completly.
