Is my iPod touch bricked? It is unresponsive

Is my iPod touch bricked? It is unresponsiv. I recently reverted my ipod touch 2g 3.1.1 firmware to 3.0 through iTunes 9. I then proceeded to apply the 3.0 jailbreak. All went well until the iPod rebooted itself to finish the jailbreak. It wouldn't reboot! It was unresponsive...putting it in DFU mode wouldn't work. It wouldn't even react to a wall charger. The screen was blank. It is not detected by my computer nor itunes. Should I let the battery drain and see what happens, or what else can I do? I am ruling out taking it to my local Genius Bar, on account that I was attempting to jailbreak it

My 2g ipod touch is bricked on the apple screen and i dont know what to do

Your ipod can go into paper weight or brick mode after dropping it or exposing it to moisture ie. water. Look down the headphone jack with a flash light and see if the little rectangular water sensor is white or pink. White means that your good and pink means the water sensor has been triggered and the unit has been exposed to excessive moisture. Here's the kicker- Apple's 1 year warranty does not cover water damage so your fu.kd. But if your still within your year warranty or you got an extended warranty, then just take the thing back to the Apple store and exchange it out if the water sensor is not pink.

I just got an ipod touch and i dont know how to download or do anything i need help from go please

Well, on the iTouch, There are many features, Depending on the firmware. If its 3.0, 4.0, 3.1.2, 3.1.3 or greater, you can copy, cut or paste. On any iPod running lower firmware versions can save pictures from the web, check e-mail, change wallpaper, save bookmarks. If you jailbreak it, Meaning, it can run 3rd party apps like snes4iphone, and so on. Download spirit to the jailbreak. This all i know from my iPod 2G.

My iPod Touch has an unresponsive touch screen.

Try restoring it. Instructions are in the restore section of your iPod. If you restore it, don't update the iPod, because it seems that the update made your iPod unresponsive. It should be fine then. Good Luck!

My ipod is disconected

You need to flash your iPod Touch (I believe you have that one) with a firmware file. (Please note that all your music will be deleted! Use IFunBox for backuping your music)

1. Download new iPod Touch 2G firmware from here
2. Connect your iPod & open iTunes
3. Hold down the Shift button on your keyboard and click Restore in iTunes
4. Browse and select the .ipsw (firmware) file you downloaded
5. The process will start and will take about 15 minutes, after that the secutiry code will be reset and you can use your iPod again!
