Is my iPod touch bricked? It is unresponsiv. I recently reverted my ipod touch 2g 3.1.1 firmware to 3.0 through iTunes 9. I then proceeded to apply the 3.0 jailbreak. All went well until the iPod rebooted itself to finish the jailbreak. It wouldn't reboot! It was unresponsive...putting it in DFU mode wouldn't work. It wouldn't even react to a wall charger. The screen was blank. It is not detected by my computer nor itunes. Should I let the battery drain and see what happens, or what else can I do? I am ruling out taking it to my local Genius Bar, on account that I was attempting to jailbreak it
Try using blackra1n by geohot for 3.1.2 firmware restore through itunes with holding shift and restore

Well if its not responsive ya I am afraid its bricked. You might want to try to recover but it seems like you did that already i hate to spread bad news.
