SOURCE: MY CAMERA WONT TURN ON..!

Its broke Baby Girl, its broke. As it is not new you will not get much joy from Canon - though you could look up their web site and tell the tale to Technical Support. I tell you this because if it is more than year old - nobody is going to mend it. But if its a model that had a problem- they might - just might swap it for another one. You can only ask. PS to get a nice reply-rewrite this story in normal type and grammar Never send messages in capitals -thats kinda like shoutin' and no one likes to be shouted at do they?

When I try to turn on my camera, inmediatly it turn off by itself, what can be wrong , and thanks for your help.

Many things could be the cause:

1. bad battery
2. bad shutter
3. bad CCD sensor
4. Bad flash

The thing is to do is take it to a local camera shop and have them look at it. there is no way we can pinpoint it here on fixya specially without further details on the camera.

thanks and please leave ratinga and feedback.

Pink lines only down the middle of the screen aprox. 12" wide for spit second.

Most likely will get worse as you are describing a failing control bd. The part # is 6871QCH038A and is a fairly complicated repair. A good deal of disassembly required, and I would take advantage of your service agreement.

Broken zoom

The E18 error is fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension.

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for about 50% of lens errors, but they're worth a try:
