700 series Bosch double convection ovens - Convection roast works, convection bake does not. Fast pre-heat does not work. We tried to reset ovens according to Bosch instruction manual guidelines, but it did not help. Please help. (We thought this started happening after a severe thunderstorm, but thought that might just be coincidence.)

The good sign is that the motor works fine as do heaters. If the operator interface acknowledges feature selection by beeping or what have you, we can safely say the problem lies with the control board or relay.

Dacro Wall oven (electric) does not heat past 345 degrees on bake or convection bake but broiler works and bottom oven works fine (for bake, convection bake and broil).

it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

hi could not find kw rating but found it needs 30- 40 amp supply. it will tell you the kw on therating plate located around the door area.

ensure that your convection fan is turning
a hum on this model usualy means that the convection motor can seize up a bit
sometimes all you need to do is redjust the fan blade

I just found out my baking oven doesn't work and I hear the fan for the convection roast, but no heat. I had the appliance man out and he said that I need a relay board! Big bucks and they don't make this model anymore. Moreover, the microwave and warming drawer work fine. This is ridiculous!
