How to get timestamp on images from Canon PowerShot A95?

This sounds like a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

Obviously it's a mass Canon A95 issue, it's the same as "pink blur LCD" question which has around 10 people with the same problem, and there's also "purple LCD line" question which refers to the same. Just this website has around 20 of us who posted in August. Unfortunately not a single reply.

Its CDD Imager Sensor problem in your Canon A95 camera and this part would be replaced.
