With all do respect, when the rubber gasket seal around the door of my front loading Bosch started with the accumulation of bad smelling gunk, I used a mixture(doesn't take much)of powdered tide with bleach,borax & hot water,use gloves for this. You'll need a wash rag you don't care about, another clean wash rag,a brush with soft bristles, butter knife & wooden shish kabob sticks. That rubber seal has nooks and crannys plus the same gunk on the seal is inside the area between the drum & motor. The first rag I use is so disgusting it goes in the trash. Next I use the other tools to get into the nooks where all that dirt hiding. Another thing to do to help keep your washer fresh is NEVER close the door completely when not in use. When I'm away I open the door completely to help keep the mold from growing. It's a design flaw in my opinion. I'll never own another one because of it. It makes me crazy.
