No hard disk found - Compaq Computers & Internet

If it fell down, you changed hard disk and still get message "Herd Disk Not Found", probably you've got a problem in your Motherboard.. Take it ro a repair technician
Hope you still have old hard disk. Check it as external disk on some other computer, maybe it's good!.

there is problem with your hard disk. your hard disk wire may be loose. try to remove and refix all sata wires of your hard disk. "operating system not found" message may be coming because you may have not installed any os (windows, linux or mac) in your notebook. try to install operating to system to fix this. there may also be proble with your hard disk, your hard disk may be dead. if your notebook is showing message "operating system not found" without any reason then you may have put your notebook in high magnetic field area. due to high magnetic field, sometimes hard disk's are formatted automatically.

The hard disk may be faulty. Try reseating the hard disk if the PS3 still cannot find the hard disk then it is faulty and a new hard disk is needed and the PS3 software needs to be installed on the new hard disk.

You might need to borrow another hard disk drive from your friend or relatives and try it on your laptop. If it still does not work, then we can assume that the laptop needs repair with the hard disk drive port.

Not good. Check your bios for correct drive for boot up, but it sounds like yoru hard drive is not being read....

Hi, blinking light may indicate activity to or from hard disk and computer, maybe the disk partition was damaged or lost due to incorrect ejection or a virus, you could use a free partition recovery software to try to fix it, for example EaseUs.

This is caused by :-
1. Your hard disk has failed.
2. Your BIOS settings for the hard drive has been altered
3. Your hard drive has been wiped or someone or a virus program that has deleted critical files.

Go into your BIOS setup to check the hard disk settings, if possible see if it will auto detect the hard drive.

Also boot up with a DOS disk run FDISK to see if you can detect a hard disk, partitions etc.

If the hard disk appears OK you may be able to do a disk repair, most likely you would need to re-install the operating system and the laptop drivers for video, audio, LAN, modem etc.

better to dump your data from main hard disk then once reformat your main hard disk then that external hard disk work properly .............
