Most probably you have a problem with the connection between your graphics adapter socket & your monitor. Check this connection & make sure it is not loose & that the cable connecting your computer to the monitor is not damaged or is not running very close to a source of electromagnetic interference.

Testimonial: "i cant thank you enough,i touched a black chord that connects from my monitor to my pc and all of the sudden the shadow/double images went away!"

Have you tried another monotor?Or replacing the video card.Try going into the bios if the shadow and double image still exist replace the video card.Reason behind this is windows have not loaded any drivers so you can rule out software,so once this still appears to be the same the video card is failing.
good luck

Tips for Troubleshooting Power Problems with Laptops

If you experience shadow/double images of text, icons, etc. on your computer's display, the first thing to check in this case is the connection between your graphics adapter socket & your display monitor. You have to make sure that this connection is not loose & that the cable connecting your computer to the display monitor is not damaged or is not running very close to a source of electromagnetic interference.

How to recover word file document?

MS Word files get corrupted or damaged due to power sabotage, abrupt system shutdown, virus attack, and storage media corruption. You can try a third party MS Word recovery tool ( http://www.mozesoft.com/word-file-recovery-software.html ) to recover all infected data successfully. - See more at: https://softcart.wordpress.com/word-file-recovery-software/

The monitor is showing doubles or shadows of every image on it. from icons on desktop to text in web browser and every other detail.

If it has a removeable cable between the PC and screen, try removing it and plugging it in and trading ends (plug the end that was in the PC into the back of the screen and vice-versa...) If the connector is even slightly loose or the cable is going bad it will cause the problem you're having, and as long as it's removeable you can easily get & replace the cable... Good luck!

'Shadows' behind all texts and images on the screen

LCD Monitor Shadow Effect
This problem is best described as the LCD monitor "Shadow Effect".
The solution to this very simple. No software or hard ware changes required.
The cables that are connected to the LCD monitors are causing the problem. Its also called as electromagnetic noise or electrical noise.
Solution: Keep the two cables - (power cable and moitor display cable), that are connected to the LCD monitor as far away as possible with each other and also away from other electrical cables.
Thats it. Your shadow effect is fixed.
Thank you.

Double image or shadow image

We recently had the same problem with our church projector and we too had just changed the lamp. I read somewhere while searching for an answer that if the cable input is loose it will cause double vision of the text. Sure enough, the cable was loose and after tightening the text cleared up immediatly.

Text on screen trailing to the right

Check the VGA plug and lead between the monitor and computer.

Does it get worse or better while you move the lead around?
