Kenmore Elite washer had LF code then went blank-can't restart.
Kenmore Elite calypso action washer had "LF" code, I fixed hose problem, but then it went totally off, and I can't get power on the display board - no lights or action when pressing buttons. Is there a reset somewhere? I checked plug and circuit breaker. I unplugged for 10 min. to try to reset.

I am not familiar with any error code referencing "LP". Could you be seeing "LF"?
Below are the error codes listed for your washer:
"LF" (Long Fill) Inlet hoses are kinked or clogged or water valve screens are not clear. (Solution: Straighten inlet hoses or clear screens of any foreign material.)
"LD" (Long Drain) Drain hose is kinked or clogged. (Solution: Straighten or unclog hose.)
"FF" (Fill Failure) Problem with water level sensing system. (Solution: Call for service.)
"OL" (Open Lid) Lid Is open during drain or spin. (Solution: Close lid.)
"PF" (Power Failure) Power to washer went off during cycle. (Solution: Press any pad to clear the display. Restart the washer from the beginning of the cycle.)
LF code means long fill on the water supply,if it takes too long to fill it will shut down, remove the water fill hoses and check for screens in the hoses and washer water connections and see if they are plugged with sediment
Hi LF means Long Fill, this error flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change. Check whether water supply is connected and turned on. Make sure the hose is not blocked and hose screen is clear. If so make sure pressure hose connection to machine/motor control is fine. Also check the continuity of water inlet valve, use a multimeter to check the continuity. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information. Daniel
Following is the LF troubleshooting response from the Whirlpool Cabrio Service Manual. The Cabrio is the same as the Kenmore Oasis.
“LF” (Washer is taking too long to fill) Check the following: Are the water inlet hoses kinked or clogged? Are the water inlet valve screens clear? Are both water faucets turned on? Is the drain hose sticking too far into the standpipe (siphoning)? Is the pressure transducer hose kinked or dislodged? Press PAUSE/CANCEL to clear display.
It takes a while to load but following is the manual in PDF format.
Oh the dreaded calypso pump...Seen that one a million times. Pumps get clogged pretty easily. Try to get the water out manually first. Than push the washer back and lean it against the wall so that you can access the bottom. Remove the 3 screws. Bottom panel should come off. The pump is on the right, its black. Get ready with a shop vac or alot of towels, theres gonna be a flood. There are 2 clamps on black hoses that need to be taken off so that you can slide the hoses off the pump. Next remove the 3 bolts that hold the pump in place. Next lower the pump out of the hole it sits in. Youll have to follow the wiring harness up and disconnect it. Now you can try and clen out the pump or replace it. Part # is 285990. Costs about 75.00. Hope that helps. Let me know if yiu need more help. Dave www.washermd.com
LD means long drain and according to the manual your drain hose could be clogged or kinked.
LF means long fill. check your water hoses and the screens to make sure they are not clogged. Had that happen to me once and i had to change the hoses. several months later same thing happened and it was the motor pump part # 8054968, this you can fix yourself.
"LF" is a "LONG FILL" error. This will occur if water fill time exceeds 10 minutes. I don't know why this would pop up at the end of a cycle. Normally this is associated with filling at the beginning of a cycle.
There is also an "FL" error, which is an "OVERFILL" error. This is normally associated with a problem with either the control board or wiring harness. This normally occurs when there is an open circuit between pins 1 and 3 on P17 of the control board. That one is a little more involved and usually requires replacement of the control board, wiring harness, or both.
If you, indeed, have an "LF" error I would check your water source coming in. Check your fill hoses for kinks or obstructions, first. Then, turn the water supply off and remove the hoses from the back of the machine. Place one end of each hose inside the wash tub and turn both water supply lines back on to make sure you have good water flow coming through the hoses. Replace the hoses if they show signs of bulging, cracks, leaking and/or restricted water flow. Turn water back off and check the fill valve inlet ports on the back of the washer for accumulations of sediments in the screens. It doesn't take much to restrict water flow. You can clean the screens with a cotton swab. If you check everything and still have problems with the error code popping up, I would replace the fill valve. It's an easier fix and less expensive than a control board. If you decide to replace the valve, it is located under the console on your washer, I believe. It's fairly simple with a couple of screws to remove on the console and a couple of connectors and hoses on the valve to remove. Make sure you unplug the machine and turn off the water supply before attempting. I hope you find this advice helpful. Let me know if this works for you.
