When i try using it, nothing happens. i cannot

Sounds like the Motor's Start Capacitor needs replacing. It gives the motor a big jolt of power to get it running.

First, test the motor by completely removing the workbowl. There should be a dark grey or black button on the base of the processor. Using a pen (not your finger), press and hold the button while turning the machine on - if it does not spin, the motor is dead. If it does spin, then you should reattach the work bowl, slide the lid into place, and then slide the pusher sleeve into place. Slide the pusher into locked position. I went through the same thing...as it turns out, everything was locked into place but I had the handle in the back rather than the front where the sensor is. Good luck. I hope that helps you.
