Self-cleaning ovens are not "squeaky clean" after the cleaning cycle has run. Any spilled food or debris in the oven before it cleans will be left behind as ashes, soot, etc. and you will need to wipe it out with a damp cloth afterwards. If the residue is black and sticky then the cleaning cycle isn't running at a high enough temperature. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions to make sure the cleaning feature is working and being operated properly.
The serial number is under the left side door behind the cover. Open the doors take out the two phillips head screws which go into the top of the lower cover, one on each end just inside the door hinge, the lower cover will remove to the front.

I have seen this happen when a hole develops near where the ignitor is mounted. The excess gass overheats the ignitor and burns it up. What I do in a case like that is slide a c clamp over the burner and cover the hole.
Propane burns very dirty,I bet the burner and pilot are clogged with soot.In techinical terms the sound your hearing is blowback. If you check the burner/pilot you will likley see black soot, remove them and clean with soap and water.
