Water is leaking from the back of the internal wall vent and running out of the freezer door. Every two days there is a small pool of water outside the freezer door. Inside the freezer door there is a collected pool of ice with run ice coming down from the back lower wall cooling vent, down to the bottom floor of the freezer and out of the freezer door. The lower vent appears to have a 4" by 10" aluminium try behind it which is covered with a thin layer of ice. It is this ice that is running through the lower back wall vent. I can not remove the lower back wall as it is frozen in place. I have rearranged the stored food to ensure that there is ample circulation, but to no effect. I have placed paper towels at the bottom of the freezer to hold the collected ice for a longer period. I remove this every few days at present.
Your drain plug within the evap area of the freezer is frozen, turn frig off, let sit for day or two with doors open. Once all ice has melted then take rear freezer evap cover off and pour water into try and make sure it drains, if not then unplug drain. This is usually caused by a defrost heater bad or unit not going into defrost when it's supposed to, may be main board.
Testimonial: "Good advise thanks. Used hair dryer to defost ice. Found that drain pipe was blocked up with dust/flotsome. Everything working fine now ;-))"
