Power off all of your network devices, including modem, router, and computers. Then power on each device in the following order:

  1. Cable or DSL modem
  2. Router
  3. Computer
Wait for about 1 minute between each step, do each device has the chance to fully power up. This will reset the connection from your modem to your router and force the router to refresh it's settings. Please let me know if fixed your problem.

SOURCE: Linksys WRT160N Connection Issues.

Sadly, this router has horrible reviews and is known for this problem:

Can you return it for another model?
Can you getLinksys to replace it?

the best one is the LINKSYS WRT54GL, but if you are stuck with the one you have...

If you have tried all these things and you are very brave (or don't care if you need to buy another router) why not try flashing it with an after market O/S?

Connot connect printer to wireless router

this may be due to the security password that is enabled in the router... its recommended to use WEP password in router to connect wireless devices...if you use any other encryption type like WPA/WPA2 then change it to WEP and connect it....if it is a belkin router then you need to disable the WiFi protected setup too.......
