I have a bissell power lifter shampoo machine and no instructions.

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X Clean Shot Upright. The best place to get the owner’s manual for the Bissell is to check the Bissell website or to call the Bissell factory or manufacturer and give them the Model # of your unit and they will mail you out one. Always use genuine Bissell products made for the model that you have for best results. So check with your local factory authorized vac dealer that carries and services Bissell.
