I need to know how to set the heating and water and for how long to have the water heating up for, for one person. So probably need a manual of some sort. Also my boiler is 11 years old and I have just tried to set up a british gas homecare package but they wont touch it because it is a powermax 155 and they say they cannot get the parts. What do you recommend i.e. yearly services or replace boiler or??? Below it will not let me enter my product, so I will enter anything just to post my problem????????????????

I believe that your question is better suited under a "utilities" section. This is a camera section.

Use another central heating engineer and get him to look up this company http://www.pricerightheating.com/powermax-parts-spares/powermax-155x-fss-boiler-parts-spares.html . They are generally cheaper than most suppliers of the Powermax 155. There is aan on-line booklet you can view describing all you nee to know type in 'Powermax 155 Installation & Servicing Instructions' or have a look at http://www.powermax-repairs.co.uk/. mike Bryant is as clued up as anyone with these and has links to more info.

We are unable to get the water to heat up

have you cleaned your filter?
try running the spa w/out the filter. if it heats clean or replace the filter.
if it still doesn't heat you need to replace the heating element.

Wash water does not get hot

That doesn't sound right, because it should be hooked up to the hot water to begin with, the heating element in the dishwasher just boosts the temp for sterilizing.

When you have a dishwasher you usually increase the temp of the hot water tank, it's usually in the manual.

If you have small children then it's better not to make it very hot.

As to why the dishwasher isn't getting real hot, the heating element is probably bad and needs replacing.

Also setting can be low or off, but water should be hot even if they are low at least what temp your hot water tank is set at.

I've lost my manual, and am unsure what the heat

You posted under water heater.
Open following link for adjusting water heater temperature on typical gas and electric water heaters:
State electric has ABC
White Rodgers gas thermostat has ABC
Honeywell gas valve has ABC
Each is shown on following link:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-adjust-temperature-on-water-heater.html

60 degrees C is 140 degrees F.
You can get burned pretty quick at 140 F.
I suggest 125-130 F and see if that works
First aid for burns is to apply cool water immediately.

The water heater "Stiebel Eltron

I am a free answerer, and I specialize in giving you resources for free
The paid answerers may have a person who knows your product and the problems associated with your model.
I believe they offer a refund if the 'fix' doesn't work.
The manual might also have troubleshooting.

Each day I see 20-25 unanswered questions about tankless water heaters.
And the day before, there were same number of unanswered questions about tankless products.
The number of questions shows the complexity of the machines, the brand-specific-ness of the problems, and the inability of the manufactures to take care of their customers.
If I understand correctly, the manufacturer will refer you to the installer.
There are not many ways a do-it-yourself-er can fix a tankless.

I just bought a dewalt heat gun dw340k and the temperature setting are just in numbers 1,2,3,4 and the manual gives no directions as to what heat is produced at each level. Ideally i am trying to set...

Get a thermometer and test it at the conditions you would use it. This is because the heat gun controls power settings, not temperature settings. Instead of 1,2,3,4 they might have used watts, but that still wouldn't help you much. This is just like the setting on a stove top burner, either gas or electric. Any given setting will get a small pot of water hotter faster than it would get a large pot of water. But if you need a specific temperature on the stove you need a thermometer too.

My comfortaire dehumidifier stopped dehumidifing.

First of all, Is it collecting water?. If not then it most probably has a leak in its refrigerant system. If that is the case then you need to contact your local repair person/shop.

Need a manual for drayton tempus 3 heating control

I've ended up with a Drayton Tempus 3 when I bought my house, and I think this is how it works. It allows you to set 2 Timers (I'll call them timer 1 and timer 2) so that you can control Hot Water or Heating On/Off times twice a day. The unit has 6 buttons - 2 for Adjustment, 2 for Hot Water and 2 for Heating. The 2 Adjustment buttons allow you adjust the Clock Time, or allow you to adjust Timer 1 and/or Timer 2. NOTE: Timer 1 is the time refered to on the Heating / Hot Water Select buttons if you press "Once". If you select "Twice" on these the both Timer 1 and Timer 2 are taken into account. For example if you want Hot Water to come on Once between 8pm -10pm, but you want Heating to come on Twice between 6am - 7am, and 8pm -10pm, you have to do the following: Set Timer 1 to 8pm - 10pm, and set Timer 2 to 6am -7pm. Then select Once for Hot Water, and select Twice for Heating. Hope this helps.
