Code 68 [aeq7000es series]relates to "stuck buttons, or control panel issues. Try to see if your dryer will give you the code for which button is stuck and try to wiggle it to free it up if stuck. If all buttons check out good then you most likely have a bad control panel ,and its time to find your best deal on one

Frigidaire affinity dryer error 68 and hot to touch

Hey friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

I understand that you are getting an E68 error code on your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, it usually stands for a key (button) that is stuck closed (active). Let's try entering a "Function Test Mode" and perform the Key Test to determine which button could be the problem. To perform "Function Test Mode": Press and hold START and the CANCEL button at the same time for 10 seconds. The key that is stuck should blink. Free the key and perform the test again. If the button is free but the error code still exists, the electronic control will more than likely need to be replaced after it has been properly diagnosed by a professional. If you need help in contacting a technician you can view the manufacturer website to find available technicians in your area. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

How do i find out what the frigidaire gallery series dryer error messages are

Hello Friend, this is Z. I appreciate your post!

To get the error code your dryer may be experiencing, attempt the following:

Wake your dryer by pressing any button except for CANCEL.

Press and hold the "CANCEL" and "START PAUSE" buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to show the error recorder code your dryer may have. The error code normally appears in the display as an E followed by two numbers.

If your dryer shoes, E00 it indicates no failure code was detected.

The error code F6E5 means "Cancel key error". Press the "Cancel" and "Start" keys in the following order: CANCEL, CANCEL, START. Verify the error code displayed on the control by observing for longer then 1 minute. If the error persists, the display board has to be replaced.

My washer begin washing but the stop and has the code lp what sim to be the problem?

This are the only codes for your washer. hope this help. WHIRLPOOL Calypso Washing Machine Failure Code Condition Check/Repair "PF" Power Failure "PF" flashes if the washer loses power during a running cycle. The washer does not flash "PF" when it is first plugged in.
Press START to continue the cycle from the moment that power was lost

-OR-

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display and completely cancel the cycle. "FL" Flood Condition "FL" flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for "FL" to be displayed
With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. "Er" Processor Reset Error This error code is displayed if the control failed to save cycle information during a power failure. This does not generate an error code beep.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. "LF" Long Fill If the water fill time exceeds ten minutes, the water valves are turned off and "LF" is flashed.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. "CE" Communications Error If there is any breakdown in communication between the machine controller and the motor controller, "CE" flashes and the unit beeps once.
Some common causes of "CE" errors include:
·Conformal coating on serial communications pins between the machine controller and motor controller. After disconnecting power to the unit, try scraping this coating off the pins.
· Check the resistance values between the serial communications pins with the connectors in place. Make sure the harness does not have a bad connection.
· Check the quick disconnect at the motor terminal. The drive motor must be hooked up properly or a "CE" error will occur.
· Drive motor thermal protector has opened.
·Motor controller is not powered or fuse has opened. Replace motor controller.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. "Ld" Long Drain "Ld" flashes if it takes longer than 5 minutes to pump out water to a point where the operating pressure switch resets.

"Cl" Average current limit Or
Instantaneous current limit If a status signal comes back from the motor controller that a current limit has been breached, the unit will return to standby mode and display either "CA" for average current limit trip or "Cl" for instantaneous current limit trip.
Average current trip occurs if there is a 2 second average of current draw greater than 5.55 amps at the motor windings.
Instantaneous current trip occurs if there is a spike of 26 amps instantly at the motor windings.
This may signify problems with the drive motor, thermal protector, or motor controller. Over-loading the unit may cause this problem.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display "ob" Off Balance If the motor controller detects an unrecoverable off-balance condition, the machine controller will shut down and display an "ob" for Off Balance
The lid switch must be opened at least once before restarting the cycle, if this condition occurs. Opening the lid will allow the customer to view and redistribute the load.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. "Sr" Stuck Relay "Sr" signifies a failure of the relay in the closed position. With this failure, power to the motor controller cannot be turned off by the machine controller.
The machine control board may have a bad relay and may need to be replaced. Check pins 1 and 5 of P16 of the machine controller and pins 1 and 2 of P1 of the motor controller. This should have AC line voltage when the motor controller is powered.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. "LS" Lid Switch Error The control should flash this error code if it cannot detect the lid switch opening and closing properly. This error code may also be used if there is a disagreement between the motor and machine controllers on the stat if the lid switch. The control should not allow the unit to run in this condition.
This code will also appear if the user presses the START key while the lid is open.

Calypso has unbalanced "L5" message

LS is a "Lid Switch Error"

The control should flash this error code if it cannot detect the lid switch opening and closing properly. This error code may also be used if there is a disagreement between the motor and machine controllers on the stat if the lid switch. The control should not allow the unit to run in this condition.
This code will also appear if the user presses the START key while the lid is open.
Open the lid or press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. If opening the lid or pressing STOP/CANCEL does not clear it, unplug your washer for 5 minutes.
Here is a link to a PDF manual for it also.

This error code indicates that the door is not locking.
Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it.
Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed.
fl_doorseal.jpg To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
hcz_003_web_env1.gif

If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
  2. Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.

jenkle, F then 1 flashes when there is a primary control failure. There is a couple of things you can try. 1. Unplug the machine for 2 minutes and see if the error returns. If it does, try activating the auto diagnostic mode. With the washer plugged in and all indicator lights off, select any key except power, start and stop. Here's what you do; press/hold for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press/hold for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press and hold for 3 seconds. If you did it right all indicators will light and 88 will appear in the display. If there are any faults, they will then display, look for a F-60 through 68. This will confirm the board is corrupt. If no faults are found the machine will go through a five minute automatic test cycle. To stop the test, just press stop/cancel. Check your owners manual and see how long the board is warranteed.
