If it's electric ... could be one of:
1. Bake or Broil element has gone bad. The Broil element is cycled on and off during Bake pre-heat, so if it is bad this would slow down pre-heat. Does Broil work OK? (If gas, may be ignitor problem).
2. Temperature sensor problem. Does the oven eventually get to the right temperature?
3. Control board failure. If #1 and #2 are ok ... we see the control board fail and cause these symptoms. If so, we may be able to help you, we repair control boards at

Hi friend, thank you for your post!
I know from your post that your Frigidaire oven is working but the preheat takes 30 minutes. This does sound like lengthy amount of time for preheat to be completed. From what you are describing it could be an issue with the panel, element, or thermostat. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose your refrigerator to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. -Matt
