Epson 9500 using usb to parallel interface

I need to connect my G4 mac mini to the epson 9500 by using the usb
port to the parallel connection on the printer. I found a dynex cable and
hooked it up and get communication error alerts, no printing available.
I am looking for a c-usb-pk4 cable from epson which is discontinued but
would use a different brand so long as it will work. Presently using OX10.4.3 with a downloaded driver from epson version 2.01, i think.

Epson UB-U03II not working

I had huge issues with my TM-U220. It does not play well with a Centronix-to-USB cable or with Windows 64-bit. I played for AGES to try and get it all to work.

I installed the USB device driver[1] I was able to print the Test Page proving that the connection between Windows and the printer sort of worked, but when I tried printing anything from Unicenta POS, it always failed.

I finally bought a new Centronix-to-USB and a new parallel port card, used Windows 32-bit, and problem solved.

They key is to uninstall everything, including searching through the Registry to delete everything.

Interfacing EPSON Stylus 440 to Pentium Dual Core CPU

Current printers no longer have the parallel port and neither do computers. The printer can be connected through USB, Ethernet or even Wireless. If the printer has a parallel printer port and none of the other means of communications you should look for an adapter USB-LPT.

Where can you bay usb cable for panasonc ds 55 camcorder to connect to pc.

This camera downloads video over a Firewire (DV, IEEE1394) connection. Some mini-DV cameras have a USB connection but it is usually used only for stills. This camera doesn't have a USB connection at all.

Suitable Firewire (DV) cables can easily be found on Amazon or eBay. You will need the kind with a small (four pin) connector at one end and a larger (six pin) connector at the other. However, while most PCs have a USB port, they seldom have a Firewire port. Macs often have a Firewire port but may not have USB. As most Windows PCs do not come with this interface, you might need to fit an add-on Firewire interface card. This will come with a driver for the card.

Not recognized by 2tb hitachi simpledrive

USB ports on computers can be either the older '1.1' speed, or the newer (and much faster) '2.0' high-speed.

Your external drive is capable of using the high-speed USB 2.0 interface, but you connected it to a USB 1.1 port on your computer.

So, you can either "live" with the slower speed of a 1.1 port, or you can "upgrade" -- add hardware to your computer to add USB 2.0 ports -- so that the external drive will be over 7 times faster.

I need a cable to enable connection from Epson lq 1050 to my computer - (DELL Inspiron-530S)

The "data" cable for a printer either is:
* USB -- a small almost-square socket, less than 1/2 inch (1 centimeter),
* parallel-port -- a very-wide connector, more than 2 inches (5 centimeters).

Some printers have *BOTH* connectors.

Determine which connector(s) you have, and buy a cable.
Often, a "Thrift Store" will have the "parallel-port" cable for a dollar.
Don't pay more than $4 for a "USB" cable.
If you're buying a USB cable, make sure that there is a "square" end -- some USB cables have a smaller "mini-USB" connector, in order to connect to a digital camera.

Epson TM-T90 wont work with USB plug

I have the same problem...Epson does not work with a parallel to usb cable or adapter. If you still want to use this printer you will have to use the parallel port or change the interface on the printer to USB.

My problem is im using a laptop, in my printing is EPSON LX300, what would do to make it run?

You need extra USB to Parallel device.
If you bought LX300 without USB interface you need this device... The USB port will be attached to your laptop and the Parallel port will attached on your printer parallel interface.

It looks like this, cost about 4$-10$ee99399.jpg

Need what type of printer cable to fix to the compaq laptop from Epson Stylus C86 so i can print from laptop

You can use USB or Parallel according to the user guide. Most laptops made recently wont have a parallel port and the cables are harder to find so I recommend USB.
