My HTC MyTouch is locked and i forgot my gmail account information is there any way of unlocking it without calling customer care?

There is no other way to unlock or get back your gmail account.You have to memorize it or if you have given alternate email or current email then sign in to that email and get the password recovery link and reset your password.In this way you may get your gmail id.

If you know your gmail account and password then simply continuing trying until you see the gmail login screen. Enter your credentials and Viola

Take it to anybody whn has got flashing software so that he can renew that operating system.

you could hard reset the phone but that means that you will loose all your information

hold the end button and the home button and the send button at the same time after that select all the options it gives u

you can make a new account or reset your password on gmail website and use that one to login and continue to use the phone

IDK about a simple legitimate fix for this. I was just messin around with the pattern, hit "forgot pattern" to see what it does. It asks me for the Google username and password, but has no way for me to go back! I know the pattern! The Motorola Droid is free from this problem, when on the forgot password screen, it still allows me to go back to the pattern screen. Very disappointing HTC...

On the other hand, there is a bit of a "hack" that can be used to solve this. Create a new Google account. Then call the locked phone from another phone. While in the call, you have full access to the phone. Press home, go into your settings, and add your new Gmail account into the phone. End the call, go back, and enter your new Gmail info. You may also need to enable Wifi while the call is still connected, I'm not sure if 3G will work for the sync while the phone is "locked".

Get on a computer if you can, go to gmail, enter the username, and click Forgot Password. It will email you a temporary password and then you can change it.

yeah there's away that always happens to me they are going to ask you for your old gmail account and they are going to ask you to create a new gmail account.
