I was able to find an online instruction manual for this stroller. From that manual, I was able to find the following instructions for removing the seat for cleaning.

"10 REMOVING AND REFITTING THE SEAT COVER
Remove hood from stroller if fitted.
A Twist shoulder strap end buckles and feed through holes.
B Feed waist and crotch straps through holes.
C Unclip seat cover retaining straps.
D Unfasten seat fabric from handle tubes and seat base.
E Slide fabric from seat back and base.
F When refitting seat fabric, insert seat back support tubes
into fabric slits.
G When refitting seat fabric to seat base, loop fabric flap over legrest
strap and pass crotch strap buckle through both holes in seat fabric
and then hole in seat base.
H When refitting shoulder straps, twist buckles and feed through holes."

On step B, you have to feed the ends of the shoulder straps through all the holes. Its not possible to detach the waist straps from the frame of the stroller.

Front wheels of maclaren quest 2016/2017 model are strugling to get into position they are being pushed.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the front wheel assembly on your Maclaren Quest 2016/2017 model stroller. You may want to try removing the wheels and reattaching them to make sure they are properly seated and aligned. If this does not solve the problem, there may be an issue with the wheel locking mechanism or other parts of the front wheel assembly. It may be best to contact Maclaren customer service for assistance with troubleshooting and potential repair options. As for the safety straps, it's possible that they may need to be adjusted or reattached properly to prevent them from coming apart. The instruction manual for your stroller should have information on how to properly adjust and attach the straps. If you don't have the manual, you can find it online on the Maclaren website or by contacting customer service.

My maclaren quest stoller has become very difficult to fold up. The folding mechanism is almost siezed up. WD40 does not solve problem.

Silicon spray is the best lubricant to use on strollers but no lubricant can help if there is any distortion to the frame. Remove all the seat fabrics, hood etc to get down to the bare frame than carefully watch how each part moves as you open and close the frame to see if you can find the problem.

My Quest won't open up. It was working perfectly fine yesterday and today it won't open. Pls help.

Hi,

If the locking catch can be released ok and the stroller wont open still, I would recommend that you go to www.maclarenbaby.com and find your closest Maclaren Service Agent, who will be happy to take a look at it. You may have some of the seat fabric trapped in the opening mechanism also.

Hope this helps.
