Can someone tell me how to fix the heating coil on my amana ptac?

How much power is the question. Remember, heating coils usually require 240 volts. You likely are only getting 115 due to a faulty limit switch. 115 will carry through to the other side of the switch from the coil side leading you to believe the switch is good. Remove both sides of switch and test continuity.

I have a Friedrich Ptac unit Model PDH15K5SE-A. The unit turns on ok but does not heat. Need advice what to do. Thanks

Does the unit cool ok? If yes, you likely have a problem with reversing valve. If no, likely a refrigerant problem.

Ptac heating problem

Are you getting 120 vac or 220 vac at the unit? Check the voltage at the first terminals inside the unit as well as the breaker. You should have 220 vac at the elements and you are dropping a leg some where.
