You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. Selectyour model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XPor Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Please click on this link to their WEB support site : - http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, list
of Dealers,
for spare parts and service, Driver
downloadsand
Installation Instructionsas required.
This is the best way of ensuring up to
date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!
The first thing you need to do is repartition the hard drive. This will effectively erase the drive because partitions run below the OS level.
You create two partitions and then you can load each OS to its own partition. When the box boots you choose the OS you want to start and thats it...I think if you put the preferred OS in the first partition it will load that one by default.
You need both OS disks to do this so make sure your factory Vista disk works.
Dear the drivers which u have for vista for eg LAN / SOUND/ CHIPSET they all are common for any operating system ur load...............so don't take tension install xp & load the drivers.........................Sameeraryan
Go to Asus website.Find product support and/or downloads and put in your model number or serial number and then get only the drivers for XP.If it has a chipset driver among them be sure to install it first in order for all the other drivers to work properly and without problems.
when you go to install xp it will ask you to format the partition anyways so just make sure you're formatting the right partition and you should have no probs. good luck
did you have the laptop/notebook from new if so then you should have had a set-up disc containing all of the drivers needed to activate items such as modems, sound card, graffics card etc.
this is just a simple problem and can be rectified instantly by inserting set-up disc and loading all avaliable drivers!
if no disc avaliable then log onto the toshiba website and download the up to date drivers needed for your laptop/notebook
