Microwave making noises and turning off randomly

Spacemaker XL 1800 built in microwave oven.

The microwave oven has started making noises and is turning off randomly. The oven is approximately 4 years old

    My microwave seemingly works normally, but with power surges. it looks as if the load current is increasing and decreases on and off. is it a capacitor related problem? please advise me with a solution. Thanks

It could be that the "grinding" noise was actually "arcing" taking place inside the cavity or uder the cover. The magnatron is possibly damaged or the h.v. diode. Should be repaired by qualified repairman
