I replaced the front door switch in my Frigidair front load washer. I tested it and the cycle worked great. I then put a small load of clothes in the washer. 1 bath towel, 3 hand towels, bath mat and some wash cloths. The washer did not spin the clothes dry. It the same thing that it was doing before I replaced the door switch however, the washer spins at high revolutions without any clothes in the tub. I'm ready to tear my hair out. So far I've spent $375 to fix this machine. Replaced the bearing & outer tub and the door swtich. Can you help?
I have read that if the pump is not draining the tub completely, there is an interlock that prevents the high speed spin from engagin. I have had debris caught in my pump several times (kids!!) with similar issues. There is a trap on the line leading from the tub to the pump which is "supposed" to capture debris, but it doesn't work all that well. Check your pump.....

Just like the above, i replaced the door switch and shocks, but my tub seems to be out of balance because when it does try to spin the tub shakes real bad and the machine stops it self. I have leveled the machine, but I see the tup move when i watched the cycle with the lower panel removed. I too am about to pull my hair out!!
