Loud sqealing tried changing the belt but it still

Loud sqealing, tried changing the belt but it still sqeals. Belt dressing will fix for a few minutes, or till you turn it off and start it back up.I`ve put on new air conditioner clutch, and a new alternator.

Sqealing engine noise

Find out which belt it is. You woud notice a glazed apperance on the pulley and the belt. It is best to replace it because once the belt is glazed it will likely do that even it you tighten it. You can try belt dressing but those are temporary.

Loud squealin from power steering belt

Check the tension of the power steering belt.
It is probably loose and slipping - belts can stretch during their initial run in period.

Car makes a loud sqealing sound when i start it

I think you should start by putting a new belt on. This may solve the problem.

Loud sqeal from harmonic balancer

If you can physically move the damper the isolating rubber is probably starting to seep out and the damper should be replaced. That is, assuming just the outer part of the damper where the belt goes on is moving and not the whole thing.

My 1999 malibu screeches loud .

Is this screeching like a sqealing? It will be a belt problem, the belt is slipping on the pulley system you may be able to adjust tension or spray on some belt dressing but will most likely need to change the belt hope this helps you, good luck
