The EOS 350D does not have a Live View function like the compact point and shoot cameras (Panasonic Lumix, Powershot, IXUS etc). You need to look through the viewfinder to compose your shot. The LCD only displays menu settings and images you have already captured (Play Button). Later models of EOS D-SLRs come with Live View but still doesn't have auto focus and you have to focus manually (eg EOS 450D, EOS 40D, etc)

After assembly camera lcd displey is still off

Perhaps in disassembly pressure on the LCD cracked the crystal display with will cause a rich black screen. If the camera has both internal and LCD displays, perhaps the switch is set to the eyepiece? My lumix will shut off the LCD and turn on the eyepiece to save battery. Check wires to that switch.

My canon eos 550d. has a Broken LCD.. where ever I turn on the camera the whole LCD was black out. and the impact leaves severe broken scraches insidethe LCD... how can I fix it? please help me.. and...

You won't be able to fix this yourself, it requires a Canon repair person to dismantle and install a new LCD screen. Fortunately the camera is new enough to warrant a repair such as this, as it will be far less to repair then to replace the camera. I don't know where in the world you are but, some house hold insurance policies cover things like this.

The camera won't register an image to take a picture of.

LCD monitor electric film contacts must be fixed. If you can not do it yourself then please contact with the nearest authorized Canon Service. I think it is too easy to fix it so it is not need much money.

Image blacked out on LCD and can not see image in view finder

Try connecting it to a computer and then turning on the camera. For some reason that fixed it for mine.
