Hmmm,

Sounds very much like a loose connection from the motherboard audio out to the sound card. The onyl fix for that would be to open the laptop case and physically check the wiring. Not an easy task with modern notebooks. I take it it is out of warranty? If not then your safest option is to return it to the manufacturer ... or visit the outlet that you purchased it from.

Regards,
Ripface.

Audio stopped working

It sounds like a computer problem. Every time you shut down, the audio chip reboots. Then when it warms up, it fails again. If it's still under warranty, I'd take it in for a chip replacement. If not, you may be SOL and have to replace the whole thing (or replace the faulty circuitboard or chip yourself..

I plugged in my speakers but have no sound and didnt with my old ones either it all the sudden stopped working ?

Make sure your sound card is installed and visible in device manager. Then, re-install your sound card drivers, reboot your computer and try again. Always check for viruses and spyware.

I have a ctm scooter the battries are charged fully when i switch on the scooter will not work switch off and on again it then will travel a few feet before stopping

I would say the throttle pot is slightly out of neutral allowing the scooter to travel slightly when turned on. Try moving the throttle lever slightly in the opposite direction to which the scooter is travelling (i.e. if the scooter moves forward when turned on, press the lever to go backwards, but only a small amount). If the scooter stops and you hear a clicking noise from the back of the scooter (this would be the brake clicking on) then that would be your problem. Would just need a small adjustment but best left to a dealer as it has to be sopt on! Sometimes scooters will not work if the throttle is slightly out but if its only a very small amount out of neutral, it might sometimes work in the manner you have suggested. We have come accross this fault on a few occasions. Hope this helps...

Keyboard and mouse not working

If you have only moved the computer and unplugged the keyboard and mouse, the software should not be the problem. Plug the reciever back into the computer then press the button on the reciever, then the button on the keyboard, wait for the lights to stop flashing then do the same again for the mosue, reciever first then the mouse. This should connec them again.

I hope this helps

Computer speakers

It sounds like you have viral infections. http://housecall.trendmicro.com runs from your web browser (I would suggest using Internet Explorer). http://www.download.com/3405-8022-5153545.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5 This is Adaware, it will remove the spyware on your computer. This one needs to be downloaded. Finally, If you want to protect yourself from future viruses/spyware, use Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/) instead of Internet Explorer-the change is huge.
