INSTALLATION MANUAL for gygabyte ga-81915 pm

If my drawings you mean a layout of all the connectors, here is the manual for that particular board.http://uk.ts.fujitsu.com/rl/servicesupport/techsupport/Boards/Motherboards/Gigabyte/GA-8I915PM/Man_GA-8I915PM_uk.pdf

Everything but the Case USBs and Front Panel are keyed meaning they only go in one way. The Front panel doesn't really matter except keep the colored wires all on the same side either all + or all - and it shouldn't matter.

You probably have a Packard-Bell computer. You will need to match the motherboard form-factor to your case.

Wont accept bios update that was sent from packard bell after total failure keeps asking for bios file. also clear cmos feature on board three pins one with white square which i assume is pin 1 but header...

Ga-8SIML is a generic gigabyte mobo and does not need a packard bell bios. you could goto the gigabyte site and get latest from there. If your PB displays a logo at the start then its likely that you will lose that logo as the generic bios will not know it was fitted to a PB machine but thats no hardship.
Be sure to check the board version. version 1.0 takes one type of bios ver 3.2 another and they wont load into the wrong versions of the board. F12 is the latest non beta. I just did two of these recently so i know F12 is ok.
suggest you visit gigabyte site anyway just to check how the bios should be blasted and which version supports which mobo model no..

Hello,

you need a new CPU cooler and the part you will be needing is called 'CPU COOLER". Go to any computer accessories shop/store within your vicinity and purchase another CPU cooler. You will need to remove the one from your motherboard and use it as a sample to get another one so that you can get exact size of cooler that will fit your CPU because CPU coolers varies in size and shape.

Good luck.
