Probably went bad a lot of exhaust dirt gets in there. Make sure power is off take it out and replace it ,you can find one at your local Grainger if not they can match it up.
The diagram is in the handbook. If you don't have one and need a copy, I can give you a pdf copy. All I need is an email address and I will send it to you.
(By the way, the grill only operates with the door down. There is a microswitch in the right hand side of the oven that stops the grill operating when the door is up).
When you say the main fan, do you mean the background cooling fan or do you mean the circulating fan in the bottom oven?
Do you have the handbook for this oven as the wiring diagrams are included in it. If you haven't, you can take a copy from my BT Digital Vault - all I need is an email address to register you.
Looking at the diagram, the power for the cooling fan comes via the timer board. If, as you say, the fan doesn't work at all, the timer board could have gone faulty.
Post your email address and I will give you access to my BT Digital Vault where you can have a complete copy of the handbook which includes schematic and actual wiring diagrams.
It sounds like you have no power to the the grill. Check the grill circuit with a tester until you identify where you have power to and then check for loose connections or broken wires from there on.
I have a copy of a STOVES 720EF Manual (including wiring info) posted on BT Digital Vault. Supply an email address and I will give you access to take a copy.
I had the same problem, we checked all the wires inside and all ok, so phoned stoves and they said that the it sounds like the timer as this is the first port
Replaced the timer and cooker is now working fine - only thing to remember when ordering the timer - my cooker is green and now has a red light instead of green
Hope this helps
Cost of timer from stoves £56.83 inc vat and delivery
