If the power connector on the back is a 3-pin socket then get a standard IEC power cable. If it is a small rounded socket then get the corresponding power supply. The unit pr user manual should give the correct specs on the required voltage, polarity, current consumption, etc.

My sound active mode is not working correctly. it goes at a fast pace even turned all the way down.

If you're sure you're in sound mode then it sounds like yet another faulty chauvet unit. Buy something from a better manufacturer and you've got a chance but in our experience Chauvet are a rule unto themselves and the kit is not worth buying. We have had nothing but trouble with them and no longer buy their kit no matter how tempting the price.

Will not turn on

You do not say what dimmer pack you used, I hope it wasn't and you mean a DMX controller. If you plugged in a dimmer pack you have almost certainly destroyed the unit. If you used a DMX controller you have probably still got it set for DMX operation so you will need to change the mode. If the unit is completely dead ie. nothing on the display not just no light - there is little you can do yourself to repair it These can however be picked up for under 75 on ebay etc. so it is not likely to be worth repairing anyway.

Read about terminating the chain with a resistor 120 ohms. If your run has appreciable length, a termination MAY be necessary to avoid digital reflections that can corrupt the message between the control and the lights. Having separate power sources CAN subject the units to "ground bounce" that can also corrupt the digital control. You need to power all the units from a single source or conditioner if possible. Another solution might be to use one of the DMX radio links which would isolate the ground problem. Another fix you MIGHT try is to get some of the clamsheel ferrite devices that clamp around the wires. Put these around the digital cables, not the power cords:

DMX function appears to have failed, stand alone chase working fine. Controller panel functions well with other units. Item: DMX-4 dimmer pack.

Make sure you have the correct address dialed in for the unit and the mode.

If this is on a long cable, read about "terminating resistor" that is sometimes needed to avoid reflection on the DMX daisy chain that can cause random effects.

Try using a different address with the unit as well.

I am using 3 Chauvet colorstrips. They are hooked up perfectly to my DMX controller via master/slave. There are no problems with the DMX controller. The Chauvet colorstrips are flickering simultaneously...

Check if you may need to use a terminating resistor on the DMX chain. Sometimes digital reflections on the cable can cause random behavior.

Search "DMX termination" for explanation.

Also MAKE SURE you set the program mode to 021 (RGB).

It sounds like you might be in one of the automatic modes or sound triggered.

I have numerous Chauvet 200b LED lighting fixtures. The problem I am having is: the "blue" LED"s on most every fixture are starting to go out. All the other colors are fine (it's just the...

Before jumping to conclusions, one should do some testing. It is posssible that you are having a DMX data error. If your lines are long, please review the need for a termination resistor at the far end of a DMX chain. The reflections of the data pulses can confuse or cause errors. Test a unit up close to your controller so the cable is short. If that magically works, install a terminating resistor.

Beyond this, electronic testing needs to be done. I did find in a Chauvet LX5 a bad solder joint at a connector that brings the power for, in my case, the green LED's. There will be surface mounted resistors on the back of the board that limit the current to groups of LED's.

If the whole fixture loses the blue at once, either suspect a DMX error or the driver in the fixture.

Just got a Chauvet Trident and plugged it in and the moter tunrs left then right , then stops ? The LED's blink 1 time then that is it ?

The left right motion is when the motor calibrates its position. The unit is then waiting for input... try generating a loud noise... if the audio gain is up and it is configured for manual rather than DMX it should start.
