How to convert from gas to LP gas - Sears 61301 Gas Kitchen Range

Most NatGas devices will convert to use of LP by changing the orifice.

If you only changed the gas regulator for use with LP (the regulator located at the connection of the gas service) then you still need to change the orifices for all burners, top and oven. Of course I assume this model can be converted for use with LP. Some models cannot. A new range that can be converted for LP typically includes the needed LP orifices. A card with the LP orifices is typically located at the gas regulator.

Hi,

Hotpoint supplies the orifices and instructions with each range for converting. It is just that it is hidden, they attach it to the gas regulator. The regulator is near the bottom back typically. Here is a cut out from your use and care manual.

CONVERTING TO LP GAS (or converting
back to natural gas from LP)
This range leaves the factory set for use with natural
gas. If you want to convert to LP gas, the conversion
must be performed by a qualified LP gas installer.
The conversion instructions and LP orifices can be found
attached to the range next to the pressure regulator.
Keep these instructions and the orifices in case you want
to convert back to natural gas.

was the injectors converted in both and was the regulator converted

i dont have a solution, but i would like to do the exact opposite. I would like to convert a lg125 from lp to natural gas. have you learned anything?

GE ships gas ranges set for natural gas, with the LP orifices included, usually on a metal tab held with one screw right near the regulator (where the gas connects to the range). If the range was converted to LP, the person who did the conversion was suppose to put the natural gas orifices back in that holder. If they are missing, comment back on the exact model number and I can look up the part number(s) for you.

Nothing is imposible but this stove was not made to be converted. It is a not a classic crank down and flip model. Your best bet would be to get your LP gas supplier to do it.
