YES. You have chance.
First things first: DO NOT take any more videos or pictures with the camcorder(memory card) that you want to recover files from in case you may quite possibly ruin the chances.
Then take the memory card or hard drive out of your cam, and connect it to your computer as it should appear as a "Removable Drive" or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.
Then install this software Wondershare Photo Recovery (recover videos and audio files too) on your computer. Then start to scan and see if your deleted files can be got back. Get the program from:
For Windows Version
For Mac version
Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to your camcoder(card or disk) until you can recover your files safely! Regards
Yes, you can restore all your lost recorded
files ad long as they are not overwritten by anything new yet.
The deleted files are not actually deleted
after the deletion or formatting process. They are still there and only become
invisible and inaccessible. But, they are also vulnerable and could be easily
overwritten by any new file on the same camcorder.
So, I hope you've not overwritten all of
them yet.
But, now, you can try to restore these lost
files back successfully by applying a camcorder data recovery freeware that has ever completely restored all the
data of my friend. It is really worth a shot.
Download this data recovery freeware here:

Hello. As long as you don't record anything else on the disk(and take a BIG chance of overwriting the lost files) you should be able to recover the files--providing the disk itself isn't damaged. I use a cheap little unerase program that I purchased on the net to scan whatever drive has material which needs to be recovered.
When files are erased on a drive or memory card, they are *still there* but, the first letter of the file name has been changed to a question mark! As long as the data hasn't been written over, you should be able to easily bring it back. There are a number of unerase packages available. Pick one from reputable company. They aren't too expensive--I paid around 25 bucks for mine.
From the ones I've used, set it up first--choose a directory that you want the files to be recovered to(easy to remember), choose the level of scanning you want(fast or deep) if available, and other such choices. Then, when everything's connected and configured, have at it. Remember this though...if the program comes back and says that files are damaged, don't lose hope. Programs use different methods of deciphering the information. If the one you got can't, for some reason, recover the files, as a last resort take the unit to a camera store and let them have a crack at it--better to try everything before giving up. Chances are though that you'll get your stuff back with your program. Hope I helped you(didn't mean to get long-winded)---Rick
