Tools > Popup blocker > Turn off popup blocker
Then when you go to the table, if it still does it, Hold Ctrl+alt when you click on the link. (or when it wants to change.)

Pogo wont let me play texas holdem ...it says I have a pop up blocker...I unblocked all blockers but pogo says I still have them and wont let me play

You might want to try another browser. It might be worth trying one of the below:

  • Internet Explorer
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
One of those should work.

When playing games in facebook I cannot send and recieve gifts and keep getting things blocked, why does this always pop up at top of games ?

You need to adjust your pop up blocker to allow pop ups for Facebook. Typically IE8 gives you a message at the top of the screen when a pop up is blocked with the option to allow pop ups from this site either for this one session or forever. if you do not see this you can adjust your settings by clicking "Tools->Pop up blocker->Pop up blocker settings."
You may also need to adjust the security settings for Facebook from "Tools->Internet Options->Privacy." Make sure you adjust privacy settings for facebook only!!

Having peoblems with pogo and facebook. Pogo will

A couple of things to try. If things were working normally, and have just started this, then try removing spyware and malware. I recomend using Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Also for Pogo, you need to either turn off your pop-up blocker or better yet just turn it off for Pogo. You can find instructions on how to do this depending on which browser you have by choosing the Help button and then search on popup blocker.

PROBLEM SIGNING ON WITH POGO. UNABLE TO LOAD AND PLAY CHECKERS

Sounds to me like what is known as a homepage hijack virus. I would uninstall Explorer, and reinstall the appropriate version of it. It also may not be a virus, it may be that IE8 was installed through windows update automatically, and perhaps POGO does play nice with IE8 yet. Please remember that IE8 is in BETA, which means it is being tested on the public,, but is not yet complete.

Seeing A Red X Seeing A Red X Some members will see a Red X where a game should be running. This happens when a small piece of software provided by the game publisher is not installed. These little programs are called Active X controls. When you see a Red X you need to do the following to get the game running:
1) Close down your browsers (and the AOL client)

2) Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files

3) Find all non-Java labeled files

4) Right-click it and select "Remove" for each

5) Open up Internet Explorer or AOL and try to run the game again.

Slingo Help Slingo Help 1) Make SURE you have the latest version of Java by clicking here. and installing Java (the games need Java to run properly)

2) You will see more of the screen if you use Internet Explorer or Firefox instead of the AOL browser. Just sign onto AOL, minimize the AOL running but leave it running in the background and then open Internet Explorer and go to Slingo

3) If you cannot see the entire game screen, adjust your screen size (the resolution) to 1024x768. Then you should see the game AND the chat.

I keep getting unknown zone on my computer while trying to get pogo free games and i just can't get up any of the free games. Have you any advice??? Thank You

Try removing and reinstalling Java (most of the games on Pogo are Java based).
It could also be that Java got disabled as an add-on (this is assuming that you are using IE7)

And do you use any type of pop-up blocker?
If so, allow pop-ups in Pogo.
You may also want to add Pogo as a trusted site.
