No doubt this is a double paned glass panel. Two panes of glass with a divider strip separating the two for a "thermal break". Okay, you will need to remove the door from the hinges, and along the sides of the door, or possibly under the door gasket, you will find multiple screws that hold the two sandwiched halves of the door together. There should be a front panel, formed sheet steel, and an inner formed sheet steel panel which is coated with porcelin. When you have the front and back halves of the door separated, inside of one or maybe both of the panels you will find the clips, screws, or materials that hold this glass panel in place. Possibly it is in it's own frame, and the frame and glass both remove as one unit. Then it will be a matter of contacting Customer Service and Parts for your product, giving the Model #, Serial # and any other data that may be needed in order to replace the part with the correct one. Since this should be tempered glass, it will be quite heavy and at least 1/4" thick or so. The "thermal break" or space between the panes is so that heat does not transfer readily to the outside panel. Watch for any electrical connections for a door switch for the oven lamp, and be careful when removing the springs which allow the door to close and seal when in the closed position. And it might be helpful to take some photos of the disassembly process so that you can have a reference when you are ready to re-install the door. Be careful when removing the broken glass, and dispose of this carefully. Take your time, be patient, and don't force any thing, and you should be fine. Good lock. Kindest regards, Slats.

GE 1978 Slef Cleaning oven JKP26002wh 3 Layers of glass in door...How do I clean between the glass in the self cleaning aluminum window mechanism?

You will have to take the door apart to get to the glass that needs to be cleaned out. I would not recommend doing a self clean on an oven that is that old.

Oven glass door shattered on the inside during self clean mode

The glass is replaceable. You need to get the exact glass replacement kit from the manufacturer. I had to have mine replaced about a year ago due to condensation between the 2 glass panels and was able to get the replacement for $0.00.
Suggest to Siemens that the glass on yours should not have shattered and therefore was probably defective and you may luck out and get the glass for free. It's worth a try.

Glass continually shattering on combination neff oven

That's a huge gap.

You might ask their customer service people to authorize the replacement of the whole door or the glass and the inner door panel where the gap is.

If they won't help you, you could clean it thoroughly, then carefully caulk the gap with high temperature caulk.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Frigidaire Self Cleaning Electric Oven - Inner glass shattered, need part and instructions for door

It isn't that tough to change the glass assembly. Most of the Frigidaire have 4 screws that hold the front of the door to the inner part- sandwiching the glass in between. It is only sold as a unit- 2 glass pieces, assembled with an aluminum frame. Call All brands Appliance parts at 508-587-7100 and they'll get the part out to you. (Tell them Greasy Wheels sent ya, they'll take good care of you.) The most common reason the glass breaks, is a scratch in the glass. Sometimes it's just a dragged pan, other times it's from cleaning it with a sharp instrument. Don't do that....

Exploding Door

the old exploding door ploy...
01:00 hrs while sipping on a very fine IPA watch a bit of tellie the sound of glass shattering startles me from the kitchen. preparing to find the daughter's cat, still in the house after evaded bed time radar, on the counter. instead the front glass on the our GE Profile gas range, model JGB908SEK1SS, is slowly spider webbing into pieces. i grabbed the video camera and captured the event. GE sent out a repair guy to quote me a whopping $304.27 to replace their faulty part. foot note here...the range is four yrs old and hadn't been used in more than 24 hrs prior to the glass on the door shattering. i don't believe the glass had a "fracture to it in the production cycle at the factory". being a DIY guy the service tech ordered the replacement part for me. i just received the replacement glass from GE and it's white which would be OK if we hadn't ordered it in stainless steal. did i mention it's taken 2 months to get the replacement glass. i've attached a photo of the cleaned door awaiting installation. i really wish it had been the cat...77f7f82.jpg
