I have an amana 18 top freezer that is about 15 years old. I am getting water on the floor of the refrigator, i have unplugged it for 24 hours, and it still does it. No water is in the pan. What do i do as the refridgerator runs great

No water in the drip pan, water in the refrigerator - this is a classic case of defrost drain issues. If your unit has a little drip cup at the back of the refrigerator (inside) you will notice a hole above it, this is the drain coming from the freezer - When defrost cycle kicks in the heating element melts the frost on the evap coils above it and water drips through the hole and inside your cup in your refrigerator - then it should drain through a tube that extends to the back of your refrgierator through a hole, from there water drips down the drain tube down the pan at the bottom above the compressor so it can later be evaporated with the heat.

What you have is a plugged drain tube - water drips in your cup and overflows down the back of your refrigerator - if you are able to remove this cup and tube, pass a long wire down the drain line to dislodge any debris or whatever is blocking the line - clean your cup and also check for any debris. Also at the back of your freezer panel look for any debris or obstruction to the drain, causing water to back up and leak elsewhere. Once all this is checked, and you put back the cup, water should flow normally and drain fast enough through the drain tube.
