Fully Charged, Works when plugged in, wont power on unless plugged in

Question edited for all the typos.

It is charging the white and red LEDs. When fully charged it will be green. Or it is at that point where it is almost charged and can't make up its mind!

Charging:
This product is rechargeable. Please charge fully before first use to ensure optimal performance. Plug the full sized USB plug of the included charging cable into any USB power source such as a power cube, computer or car charger. Open the charging port cover at the bottom of the battery pack and insert the micro USB plug. The charging indicator on the back of the battery pack glows red while charging and changes to green when fully charged. Remove the charging cable and replace the charging port cover.

How old is the battery? It may be time to replace it? Always use a genuine replacement.

Your charger and or battery are fried so try test or change them

It sounds like the battery has lost its ability to charge. Replace the battery and test again.

Hook up only the ac adapter to the DS to see if it turns on. If it does then we know the ac adapter works. We know the battery got fully charged but the system isn't turning on with the battery that is fully charged up.

I would say your battery is defective but you won't really know until you fully charge up a known good working battery and test it out.

if you recharg it too much it could be wearing down, I'm guessing. unless oyu just got it.. you should take ti back because that's just messed

you might have gotten water in it or maybe your battery just isnt in fully

hold the end key to turn on.. if nothing happens plug it in.. i had to charge mine for abour 2 1/2 hours before it would work
