Not every car stereo can play every song in a usb.

This deppends on how many songs and how many folders you have in your USB, regardless of the USB's capacity. My car stereo for example, can only play about 50 songs pero folder and i think it tops at 9 folders.

Try to organize your music in folders and change the names of the songs taking every "·$&%/&$/)(=)(( Symbol and non regular character out.

Or better, get your car's manual and it might say how many songs it can play. i think mine cant read over 1.5gb. if it doesnt say, you just have to try and work with it till you get it figured out.

The last thing i try and it might work:
Cut everything out of your USB, format it and then paste everything back this refreshes the USB and sometimes it works.

Sorry about my english.

Connection Failed issue when connecting USB to amplifier.

Some of the interface chips used by the flash drive manufacturers are not fully compatible with some hardware. It's a pain but due to slight variations in designs and the large number of manufacturers this sometimes happens.

Just bought a spl sid-3201 car sterio. I loaded an 8gb flash drive with about 700 songs. I can only play something like 191 songs when I connect it to my usb port...help please

Hi, the 8gb flash drive with about 700 songs is too much for the spl sid-3201 car stereo to scan through, it plays the 191 songs which is its capacity. It's like you are over working the stereo which might start to malfunction if care is not taken..

Take care

I have a jvc kd-g720 stereo in my car and when I plug my iPod into the usb port it says "do not disconnect" and even though i have about 2,000 songs on my iPod the stereo will only play the same 49 ones in...

if you are plugging your ipod into the usb port of the kd-g720 it won't play all your songs because this particular radio only plays mp3s through the usb port. ipods play both mp3s and mp4s. so those 49 songs you're hearing are the mp3s on your ipod. in order to play all the songs on your ipod you must buy the cord that plugs in the back of the radio that will connect to your ipod. sorry for the bad news man. i had the same thing happen to me.

Sansa Fuze wont work with home stereo

The Sansa doesn't play music through the USB port. You can connect the Sansa to your stereo via the Sansa's headphone jack.

No sound coming from computor speakers while recordind from lp's.

Hey plaz21, I came here looking for the same answer, and when I didn't see any, I just unplugged the USB from the computer and it played!!
You have to export what you recorded to mp3, then unplug the turntables USB from the puter, and "Voila!"
