CAN RECEIVE BUT CANNOT SEND

Method 1: Verify email account settings on the Mail app.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Are you able to send emails but not receive? If you can send email but cannot receive email, there are several likely causes to investigate. These include email quota issues, your DNS settings and your email client settings. If your cPanel has exceeded its disk quota, this can also prevent you from receiving email.
If your incoming email used to work and suddenly stopped working, the issue is probably one of the following:

• Email is over quota.

Contact your ISP or your host provider for email.

Imagine you are using Microsoft Outlook on one computer. To use Outlook to send and receive e-mail you must give it an E-mail address. Image that you and your wife use a single user account on the computer. For the computer there is only one user. Then you configure Outlook by creating an account (you must supply your e-mail address.) Someday or other your wife wants to use Outlook to receive and send E-mail. She must add a second account to Outlook.
I have no idea what you do not to read each other's email but when you want to send an E-mail Outlook has too use one of the two accounts (the outgoing mail server of one of the two addresses) to send the E-mail. Apparently your wife's account is the default one and all outgoing messages go through it. Before you press the send button, open the account list and select the one to use for sending.

On the following screen capture see the arrowhead. Open that menu. You will see all the accounts managed by Outlook listed there. One of them is marked as the default one.
You may not be using Outlook but that should not matter, Your E-mail client may behave similarly.

Base on your question, am I correct? you can send email and receive emails from your Iphone, no problem at all. That mean your Iphone doesnt' have any problem with email.
Elsewhere, such as you use web-base email, you log on email from website and you couldn't send emails from the website??? Is that right? Or you have a email client software, such as: outlook, thunderbird, .. and you can't send email from that.
In my opinion, if you can send and receive emails from Iphone then the email server is ok, your Iphone is working well with email. Problem is the elsewhere you use to send and receive emails, maybe the setting of email client software, maybe the compatible of web browser. If you could, you try the setting, make sure the ports is correct.
