I have an acer power f5 which canot recognize a 1GB meemory chip but recognize a 256 and 512 or a combination of both.what could be the problem?
Try the 1gb chip on its own. (with no other chips)
If it still does not work check your motherboard manual
Make sure that your memory is supported by your motherboard.
You will need to know the type and speed of the memory chip you have.
If the memory is a match and it still does not work it may just be stuffed. Did the memory work in another machine?
Hope this helps
