Cancel an Order
Orders that have not been shipped yet can be cancelled. Simply navigate
to the Manage Orders section under
the Orders tab. Once there a list of orders will be displayed. Simply,

These types of things can really be annoying. How did you pay- through a debit card or Paypal?
Contact your bank if you paid through debit or credit card, and explain the situation to them, and they can probably cancel payment, and you can refuse delivery. Keep trying to get hold of Amazon and save emails, etc., to prove your intent. If you paid through Paypal, you might be able to get your bank to stop payment, if your Paypal balance isn't much. Otherwise, you will have to get a refund from Amazon, when you can get through to them. It might take awhile, in that case, so don't stress over it, that never helps. Just be patient, and they will make it right with persistence. I often just let things like this go, since it takes more time and energy than it's worth, it seems.

Just log in to Amazon and click on Your Account in the upper right of the page. From the Your Account page, you should see prominent links for canceling orders.
