it's a bad start/run capacitor. It's under the hump on top of the motor. DO NOT touch the terminals with your bare hands in case the capacitor is charged. You can replace it with an exact match.

Sounds like a broken motor coupler for sure, the motor shaft will still spin the drain pump, but drive between the motor and transmission is lost. Part# 285753A. Have fun. If you need breakdown info let me know.

Sounds like something is stuck in the drain pump.  If nothing is stuck in the pump replace the pump.  It won't spin until it drains, so fixing the drain problem will fix the spin.  You can get at the drain pump by taking off the bottom panel.

if tv is a dlp you have eithor a bad color wheel or bad fan.would need model number to research it more

it's most likely your timer....u can get the machine to spin out your clothes by pushing the timer in and pulling it back out. this resets the motor and makes it turn backwards. it's a pain to do this because you have to keep an eye on the time. this will get you through until you change the timer.
