What causes the volume on insignia model NS LCD3209 to go out ? The volume bar stays lit up on screen but cant turn it back up, it also freezes all other functions except power on/off

Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. It sounds that the main digital board to this set is not functioning. There are many reasons for this, and is not a user repairable fault. Contact any service technician.

Insignia NS-LCD26a HDMI 2 socket went bad

Replaceent will be the best way to go since most boards are multi level circuit boards. I would check with www.tvcircuitboards.com they should have either the entire board or just the HDMI port depending on which way you choose to go with the repair.

Insignia (ns-lcd26a) picture problems

ns-lcd26a
Hi,I fixed my here's issues i had and the fix i did..
ns-lcd26a
Every now and then i would get snow and a pink picture.
Then tv stop turning on .

To fix i seen on main board capacitor cp25 and cp28 near the heat sink was bad
They were both 470uf 35v...
on the power board i seen c531 47uf 50v was bad.
i also heated up the heat sink on the main board to resit the chip ,,
and tv now works

I didnt bother putting the huge shield back on main board i figure it was a issue to over heating the cpu instead take the hit to the brain from the fcc radio wave lol

First do the 3 caps and see if it works if not then do the blow dryer to the heat sink on main board
