Problem: my sylvania SRT2232X 32 inch has green tint on every channel

Sounds like your auto programming needs to be set there should be a option in your menu to scan available channels and even add them manually. I must ask are you getting cable service thru a box or strait thru coax?

I recommend you do not fix It. LCD TVs are inexpensive today and have much better performance.

Before you replace any parts, have someone (TV service tech) check the vertical size settings in the service menu.

• green tint & also very prominent when there is a black screen.
• this problem is due to degaussing effct or magnetic effct in tv.
• please remove magenatic material near tv like speaker or headphone.
• if you have turned the direction of tv please bring to normal put the tv on & put it off for 30 minutes & now put it on it will be ok.
•  do not turn tv when it is on
• hope this will help.

 

Sounds bad im afraid. If its worth it your best to take to a repair shop. If not it might be a gonner
